I hate how the Dinobots are used in the movie, but I love their designs objectively, like not as transformers but just as the toys they are. Voyager Scorn and now this look like they're from some kind of line of heavy metal dino knights and it's awesome.

He barely looks like an actual transformer, more like a figure from a different line of heavy metal dino-knights, but damn is he cool.

I passed on Scorn and Nitro the first time I saw them and then kind of figured I'd missed my chance and would have to order online. Then I found an fresh full case of them at Walmart just the other day and picked them both up. They both have their good and bad but overall I really like them and they both do some inventive things with their asymmetrical transformations.

Scorn is crazy though. I love it. He almost doesn't really read as a transformer but something from a line of weird, organic, body-horror mechs what with all the arms and jaws everywhere. He's so metal. And his alt mode is probably the most articulated dinosaur figure I have. There are a few things the original deluxe does better though. I miss the spines splitting onto the shoulders and I definitely miss his right arm becoming the dino head for some optional BW Megatron action. But ultimately I dig it. His legs are especially cool.
