>>6552682The Lego Batman Movie was pretty disappointing to me, but this looks a lot better. Much more fresh-feeling from the trailers and footage I've seen. I think reviewers are having a shorter attention span these days for any series of films, so they write them off. Dead Men Tell No Tales was actually really good, yet all you hear is fatigue over the PotC series instead of judging the film on its own merit. Sequels in general seem to be demonized, with the thought being that all movies should be one-offs. What do I know though, I don't have ADHD and the need to jump to something else every five minutes. Serials were how movies began anyway.
