So a while back i made a little midfig mockup. After noticing the new Hagrid figure has technic pin arms with regular sized hands, I updated it to use those as arms. I think it works well.
Willing to bet someone at Lego is playing around with a similar design. At this point if they use the Hagrid arms, they only need a new buff torso mold to complete the thing.
