Well DHL finally dropped off the Volks A3 Su-37M2 Terminator, and my reluctant RD Helldiver placeholder today. Built the Peacemaker, and was underwhelmed... Hope to the unspeakable one Bandai revisits the RD Patlabor line someday.
Unfortunately Su-37M2 is a bit of a monkey's paw. Closest thing to a grail these days for me, but man; signature issues of the A3 line is here and then some hahaha! Minor paint defects with a grease-like residue(plasticizers I guess) I needed to scrub off, and loose joints(though might be close to what my Zuikaku has gotten like after the scrub) out of the box; with a warped right heel and molding-wrinkle smack center on the white section of the chest. Yet, for 3,000 Yen and how long I've been looking for this thing, gonna admit I'm not too bothered with this yet; gonna have fun trying to smooth out these issues.
>>9841371>Zaku & Laggun set are available on US P-BandaiHave to come clean, my interest is mostly for the Laggun really. Though I do like the idea of having a truly base model Zaku-II, but still stings that a ANIME line of ORIGIN suits specifically the GMs; is still very unlikely...
>>9842611Avoid it.
Base layers of paint will be okay technically, but tampo details; will flake off at varying speeds. Your bigger issue will be the adhesive on that stuff will settle on the surface(cause 'blooming' too if you're just that unlucky), and is an absolute pain in the ass to clean off down the road...
