>>7759759They also try to artificially inflate an items price by cheating the system. I saw this dude doing it about a year ago with this Little Mermaid doll set. His trick was basically this...
>have an older doll set that doesn't get listed often but has been sold for for $200 recently by multiple sellers >you want $400 for it tho>list it for $259>Have friend buy it>relist it again for $320>Have family member buy it >relist it at $368>ask friend to buy it>relist it for $400>have friend buy it and keep relist it over and over at $400 to make everyone think the doll set is actually selling for $400 now>Wait for retard to actual come along and buy it for $400The dude was so lazy that he didn't even bother to take new images of the set or change the description every time he relisted it. Every time the box set "sold" he would relist it the very next day, and bump the price up by $50 while not only using the same exact same images, but the exact same description about the box having two small dents on it. Before him the thing was selling for around $200, and after he was done pulling his scam the new price was set at $400. Now you have people trying to sell it for $500, and this is why we can't have nice things.
