>>7188354I used my $10 off card to snag Ocean's Bottom, two Creative Suitcases (pleasantly surprised), the Green Creativity Box, the Bricktober Ninjago figures, and another $10 promotional gift card. My friend also ordered me the 2017 seasonal, Halloween Haunt, which should be here by the 14th. I won't be purchasing any new LEGO until the 26th, when I'll get the Modular Modern Home, Creative Supplement Bright, and maybe another Battle of Atlantis for the parts, because all three are permanently at a reduced price at this bookstore. With my second TRU gift card I'm either getting another creative suitcase or Mr. Freeze Ice Attack, plus a grey baseplate. That only leaves Mission to Mars (10405) and the Creative Builder Box (10703) on my wishlist -- Christmas purchases. I'll probably chill out after that, and see what all releases with the second LEGO Movie. Over the next week I'll be disassembling and sorting most of my sets and elements.
>>7188688You'll want to look into Technic compatible elements, like some of the following:
>Dark Stone Gray Brick 2 x 2 with Ball Joint and Axlehole with(out) Holes in Ball (57909)>Brick 2 x 2 with Two Ball Joints with Holes in Ball (17114)>Brick 2 x 2 with Ball Socket and Axlehole (Wide Reinforced Socket) (62712)>Technic Brick 1 x 2 with Axle Hole (New Style with 'X' Opening) (32064)>Technic Brick 1 x 2 with Hole (3700)>Technic Brick 1 x 1 with Hole (6541)>Technic Brick 1 x 2 with 2 Holes (32000)>Technic Brick 1 x 4 with Holes (3701)Some of those numbers might be for older elements, but try looking at sets like the Lex Luthor Mech Takedown or the Creator 3-in-1 Mythical Creatures on Brickset to see parts used and gather ideas. 64276 is another good element -- don't know how to describe it, lol.
