sooooo much has changed under the skin though. Only polished surfaces will keep the tracks from driving the engine. it works better than any official tracked lego vehicle (in a straight line, no differential)
the fenders used to rub the tracks and wheels, while the headlamps and the hood rubbed the fenders. the sideviews were held on by hope and the doors would cam off past 20 degrees. it can actually be played with like a toy.
