>>9844156i hate to derail the thread with more culture war bullshit but this is something that's legitimately been bugging me: why are trans people so obsessed with femininity? i feel like i only see MtFs online (twitter and such), and they always have this hyper-feminine persona to them (anime girl pfp, pastel / kawaii aesthetic, etc.). most biological women i know irl aren't even that outwardly feminine. i don't want to minimize the problems of people who have legitimate gender dysphoria, but i do sometimes wonder how much of what you see on social media is just socially outcast men who develop an unhealthy obsession with anime and try to emulate it irl.
