BH Ratchet's knees are also Nylon, but orange and seem be gangmolded with its new weapon parts instead. Seems like a weird thing to do so maybe there was indeed some issue with the og's knee parts.
Also the transformation with those big clear parts still sucks, you need to be careful you're flexing the silver nylon hinges they are on, not the clear parts themselves.
