>>9197051No, I don't think you need to kitbash or customize to fully enjoy the line. It's more of a bonus, than a requirement. Heck, there are Lego fans that only build the model by the instructions, and never create homebrew constructions.
So far all my planned customs have come from wanting to make something we haven't gotten yet, or something I can't afford.
I want a female goblin, female silverhorn sentry styled character, and an Illgar styled character. I can almost make what I want, I just need to wait for the Arethyr stock sale, and hope I can grab what I want.
Of course it's also fun to do super lazy headswaps to turn regular knight/dwarf/elf figures into skeletons.
