they usually put a limit of 1 for each character for the first couple of hours or something when instock sales start.
Arethyr is also one of their biggest waves production wise but interest in Mythic Legions has probably gone up so it balances out.
As long as your prepared with your payment info and want list on hand you'll be fine in those first few hours.

These weekly flash sales are dealing with stock numbers in single digits. They are literally just left over stock they held on to incase they needed to replace a figure or something due to QC. The Arethyr wave sale will last much longer and be a much bigger deal. Some figures will sell out real quick due to increased demands (this pic >>9113665 literally sold me on the red goblin) but it won't be blink and you missed it fast. More like half a day fast.

I really hope this won't hold up the stock sale.
Why are they being shipped from China in the first place? Does 4 Horsemen just has the factory send the stuff to BBTS directly, instead of have everything ship to the 4 Horsemen warehouse, and they ship it to BBTS?

Yeah, the quantity BBTS orders in is enough to warrant them receiving it straight from the source. I doubt they'd have enough room in their tiny warehouse for the BBTS stock plus everything else.

That's exactly what happens. Why have BBTS's stock sent to the 4H when that would literally just double shipping costs. 4H get their stock in hand first and takes care of the initial pre-order customers and BBTS cleans up with the second batch for the late comers.

For people who have Magus from Arethyr wave, can you please post an in-hand picture?

I remember some people complained about the head being too big. Then the 4H defenders on the facebook group said that 4H usually made the prototype head big because the prototypes were hand painted, and it is easier to paint the faces. Then the head is usually shrunk by 5% or so in the factory production. Example for these are the Dreadlock knight and the Goathead 2.0 figure. which looks way better and proportional in-hand than prototype. But then Gideon's head was humongous. So I dont know what to expect for Magus. I'm thinking of picking him up either on BBTS or this instock sale.

I think it is still a tad too big (or he has to be absolute skeletor inside the armor, but they did clearly shrink the head from the prototype shown. I will join the in stock sale rumble to grab him and maybe some silver knights as well.

Really it's both of their faults. We all know that communication with 4H can be about as reliable as a lone carrier pigeon over no man's land, but BBTS should have noticed that they hadn't gotten any confirmation of the incoming container when it wasnt on the boat maybe 3 months ago, which is a part of logistics.
So it's probably on 4H for not communicating to them that there had been a delay with their container leaving port since Chis spends more time shitposting on Facebook and drawing pictures for Cabal members inside their shipping cartons than he does answering emails, but it's on BBTS for not chasing it up for well over 3 months.

i dont think its fair to assume that 4H knew of the problem months ago. its safe to assume they had to figure out why a shipment was missing in the first place, and try to communicate with china on what's the hold up.
There's no reason they would withheld this information, and let BBTS know as soon as they did.
plus if the shipment isn't going though them how the fuck would they know what's up with BBTS's order?

What I want to know is that how come all the other 3rd party stores got their shipment in before BBTS.

Empire Toy Shop has already fulfilled all their preorders and even did 2 different mystery boxes with Arethyr figures.

It's their factory and their toys. If they're not following up and communicating well enough with their factories then it's a problem.
It sounds like BBTS had to contact the factories directly to get information on their order which is a bad look for 4H.
They're making an effort to correct this in the future, but we'll see how this affects their relationship for upcoming orders.

This sounds like pretty much what happened. But like I said, it's also on BBTS for not following up on where their shipment was for over 3 months. If the container is being shipped to them directly, I'm guessing they would have to be responsible for customs papers, organising a truck etc. They would have to have known. Shit, at bare minimum, they should have realised over a month ago when the other containers that went to New Jersey came into port that something was up.

No matter what, at the end of the day, you have a bunch of spergs who haven't even paid for their toys upset. If 4H dont do their instock sale, spergs will say they are quitting the line. If they do go through with the instock sale before BBTS get their stock, it could upset their relationship with BBTS, or worse, be considered a contract violation.
Shitty position for 4H to be in. Maybe they'll hire an extra person to answer emails in under 6 weeks now.

Yeah you can read it all on sourcehorsemen, they have dedicated page for it but it pretty much comes down to: there were 4 evil demon lords ruling the world and eventually 4 heroes appeared and fought back the evil and trapped them in other realms.
Now the armies of these demons are trying to bring them back and are rallying forces for their return so how the factions of the 4 heroes have to prepare for this

Somehow BBTS and 4H don't communicate well, very likely because 4H is using an utterly unprofessional @gmail account swamped with QCs, regular customers asking about shipping, shipping label notification, Dominos offers, etc. and they cannot prioritize email from a big time reseller to either answer an inquiry or give a heads up update that a container worth of your product is being delayed due to covid delays or whatever.

My 1.75 Torrion is probably the floppiest figure I own. In addition to the tiny hooves, his hips are so loose he does the splits from a neutral stance on my shelf. A couple of others from that wave are slightly loose, but he is definitely the worst.

You need a lot of extra work. Teflon tape on the peg, or fill the clearance with hot glue. Regardless, don't expect resin torso to be interchangeable that easily. Each individual joints, if you use teflon tape or hot glue, or just super glue to fill in the tolerance will be tailor made to specific socket.

Personally I dont think that it is worth it because of the articulation scheme. The werewolf package does not have ankle pivot or foot articulation, there is only one way it could stand and it severely limit posing.

You might as well get a McFarlane statue

I'm kinda tempted to just combine them into one larger army as they all look really good together. There's really very few visual cues that separate the figures from each other faction wise, and a large human force would make for a much better adversary for my ever growing evil Legions.

I certainly wish I grabbed some of the Templar Legion Builders. Most of the other sub-squads are either already fleshed out or have members coming to round out their teams. But the Templars are looking a bit spares compared to all the other squads between the two factions. Hopefully they'll show up in the evergreen Legion Builder sales.

The mask and sword are from a Spawn Scorpion Assassin figure, who compared to many other McFarlane figures from the era had some really nice articulation...as long as you didn't look too close at it. But the armor and sword just matched the red orc's armor so nicely, and the mask fit well enough that it just kind of happened.

The short swords come from ebay though, and I can't exactly remember which seller as they were bought years ago. But the dude had some nice, but random, looking weapons. Fully painted, injection molded stuff, way better then most 3d printed items I've seen.

With four waves currently in production, I really do hope they hold off on introducing new waves for a while. I would rather see them finally do their Arethyr wave in stock sale and then move on to the evergreen Legion Builders. I give the 4H a lot of leeway with pre-orders because they always deliver, but having four different waves up in the air is a bit much.

REMINDER that mythic legions was planned and marketed as a 1/18 line for a year prior to the Kickstarter. A few dozen retards spammed the 4H forums shit talking 1/18 and begging for 1/12 shit instead. The 4H, being incompetent boomer faggots who can't navigate the internet, thought that these 24 people were the only people that would ever buy their shitty toys so a month before the Kickstarter they changed ML to be a 1/12 line. The change was so last minute that they did not even update the sculpts of the first KS, which were all designed with proportions in mind for 1/18.

It's hilarious because I too am a 1:18 fag. I've literally been a fan of the 3"3/4 Joes my entire life and still have many of the original line figures as well as a massive collection of the ME stuff. As of late, I've also been getting a lot of AR and Joytoy stuff and have been involved in almost all of MGR's kickstarters (current one included). I'm super jealous of the Red Dragon though, it's such an amazing piece. Sadly Ax Battler just looks kind of boring and comes off as more of a pro wrestler then an actual barbarian. Does it bother you guys that the unhelmeted mythic legions character have gigantic head that clearly wont fit into their own helmet?

I was watching one of youtube tutorial on how to custom fit a head into mythic legions body and the guy was saying "marvel legends head tend to be too small for mythic bodies, because mythic legions head runs large and it wont fit in display". That's the biggest cope ever, whenever I display my Legions I never use the unhelmeted BEEG Headdie head unless the character is a dwarf.

The big heads is probably one of my biggest irks with the line to be honest. Makes it hard to really fit with other lines as the scale isn't too bad, but the giant heads just make everything else look silly. They're not all awful though, but they do tend to go bigger by default.

I got Urkzaa in one of the previous stock sales, and I'd be rather disappointed in her if I hadn't bought her for part swapping. Only 3 accessories, simple wash over the armor pieces, just a general wash over the entire spear instead making the shaft and head different colored, and no pauldrons.

I got her to make a female goblin along with a goblin legion builder I also recently bought.

Here's what all the different goblin heads that I have look like on a female body.

I'll probably use one of the legion builder heads, or the bare Knubnik head; since I want Knubnik, Snagg, and Thumpp to be complete.

Snagg actually works pretty good, since it gives you a long nosed witch look. Helmeted Knubnik also works since you can add a plume as "hair" for a more "feminine" look.

Urkzaa just seemed boring to me during the AoD kickstarter. Not just in build, but her weapons are also fairly boring considering how many other figures came with newer gear. The femorc builder was also pretty lackluster. Overall the Orc girls have been shafted pretty hard as of the three they've made, the Deluxe builder one seems to be the best, mostly because you can pretty much make her however you want.

As for the heads, Magus also seems to have a better sized head. His proto pics made it look massive, but in hand it's honestly one of the best one they've made.

Might toss on the bare hands and feet.

Might use the bare arms.

Might save the green arms, tummy, and legs and put them with one of the extra chest pieces I have and pop one of the extra helmets I have.

I have options that might change depending on what I can get in the various stock sales.

The new Deluxe Legion Builders seem to have a markup of $19 across the board.

Same anon lol, I got Hagnon and Eagalus last week which I don't regret but this week had Boarrior and the female barbarian which are two of my big wants as well as Brother Mandibulous.
I try to stick to a budget each month though in a effort to control my spending so I decided not to order anything.
Hagnon was one of my most desired figures anyway so I'm happy.

So my order was incorrectly fulfilled and I was sent a red shield knight rather than VORTHOGG. After weeks and weeks I finally got a response from 4h. After I offered to pay for the shield knight. So now I have to pay for a figure I don’t want to get the one I already paid for two years ago. Shit happens. And I kinda like the knights body. What I never liked was this helmet. They might not have new parts for Magnus since it was such a prevalent, and weird, issue. It was certainly something wrong with the paint itself, but for some reason, it was only really bad on the back of the figure as the sides of the belt (at least on mine) were fine.

I managed to blot away most of the wetness, but it did take away some of the black paint on the back of the belt and I'm pretty sure it's still damp in some of the nooks of the fur pelt. The Orc that came with the same belt didn't have any problems, neither did any other figure in this line, so it's just such an odd, one off QC error.

Boarrior was the only one I remember that had the uncured paint issue on the mud on its hooves. I lightly touched it with my finger until the tackiness was gone without removing any of the paint.

You would think they would offer a small partial refund for something like that to avoid the hassle for both the customer and 4HM themselves. They'd just be sitting on a bunch of Magnus stock they could only use for replacement parts bar the belt if they asked everyone who complained to send em back.

As others have said getting a replacement belt for Magnus may not even be viable, I don't know how prevalent the issue was but it seemed pretty common on the facebook group.
Seems kinda like the issue figma had with Sekiro's face, how the faceprinting was so blurry on all of them so it wasn't even worth sending a replacment.

I don't own her specifically, but can say that the female build is pretty fantastic and has a great range of motion in the limbs, despite the single joints. My only complaint about them is the awful ass-tech they have, as it's all a shame but could have easily been very nice. Also, I personally prefer her alt head, with the half mask and giant horns, and feel that should've been the default look for her.

As for the cape, I'm assuming it's just like the one that came with Thallyn. Which means it doesn't actually have any kind of way to attach properly to the figure itself. You'll either have to punch holes in it and peg the pauldrons through them into her shoulders or just drape it under them and hope it stays in place.

If you want a Fembarian though, she's totally worth picking up. Assuming you're not paying astronomical scalper prices. These are good figures and all, but there's no reason to go spending stupid.

Agree on the ugly ass-tech, but her cape is better than either Thallyn or Hadriana's cape. Thallyn's cape has no holes, Hadriana's has the small holes for pauldrons, which made it an absolute cunt to attach. Cassia's cape has one large neck hole that is large enough to get the pauldrons into as well without damaging it.

I like the rest of the female figure's build and proportions, they're not anorexic and they have some nice subtle definition that really pops in person. Though I agree it would be nice to see a full on musclegirl body. Maybe not as extreme as the male figures, but enough to pull of a good snu snu look, which currently the girls can't really do.

Well for whatever reason the Wasteland wave is abundant here in the UK so a handful of online shops have her for anout 46 - 50 which is a price I'm fine with paying since generally these figures come to around that price when shipped directly for the horsemen anyway.

That guy, black elf, & goaty McGoat are all 1.0 bodies with brand new parts. I think because AOD had so many different new parts they've been focusing on giving 1.0 body some new stuff in the past 2 big waves.

Considering how we just got Arethyr this year, you're in for a long ass wait to see him in All-Stars. If you really want him, then get him this year and pray to the CQ gods. Overall, the issue doesn't seem to be as big of a problem as the ogre hip joints, and most people either prayed on some kind of clear coat, dabbed until it was dry, repainted, or just tossed a new belt on they had laying around.

These guys are both 1.0 builds and should be compatible with previous 1.0 stuff. Goaty McGoatface is even using the 1.0 dwarf legs. Though I am *so* happy he's not also using their hands, because the Dwarf hands are probably the worst part in this line. I'm tempted to just buy a bunch of hand packs just to replace all the hands of my Dwarves because every one of em has trouble holding their weapons.

As for Magnus, I had the problem, but I just dabbed it dry. It's mostly on the back of his belt so not super noticeable and fairly easy to "fix" yourself if you're willing to do so. As other anon said, it may be a long time before he's up for All-Stars. I'd say take your chance with him in the In-Stock sale and just deal with it after.

Or buy him a cape and never see the back of his belt again!

About the only thing I could be disappointed about is the fact that there's only a single 2.0 body and no females, when we're already getting a bunch of 1.0 deluxe builders.
But even with that, I'm soooo happy!

They don't really use the 2.0 build as much as they should. Outside of Goblins there's been all of two males on that build, and they're both straight repaints. Even the few females they've released since AoD were fairly uninspired figures. The 4H clearly favor the 1.0 buck, as they haven't had any new 2.0 pieces in the line since they were first released.

I honestly think they need to make another male torso and clothed arms/thighs for generic rogue/thief character. The 1.0 cuirrass torso was really good and generic. You slap different shoulder pads and it works for both evil and good character, rugged and weathered and knight in shining armor character.

The 2.0 male/elf body with dial a telephone chest has the gorgo helmet syndrome. It works for one faction, maybe the elves, but now you try to do torso reuse on vampire, foreign assassin, mages, and it looks goofy that everyone has the same telephone dial on their chest.

There is something off about the 2.0 body for males. Either the head is too big, feet too small, neck peg too long, but they never look as good as 1.0 males.

I can understand parts reuse is the foundation of the line, but it's just weird that humans, orcs, and dwarves all wear the same distinct armour that has such unique patterning. At least in the Mythoss backstory, elves, dark elves and vampires seem to be somewhat related geneologically.
This is why I really like the new chest parts that came on Magnus and Red Shield soldier. They feel a lot more generic and plain, and actually feel like they could be used with any race. The original 1.0 armour feels distinctly dwarvish, so in my head canon all of that armour was forged by dwarves before the great cataclysm.

I'm pretty sure their thinking is that when AOD dropped there were more unique parts for the 2.0 body, then they had for the 1.0 body.
So they've been focusing on making more new parts for 1.0 in the past 2 big waves, and they capitalized on that with the deluxe legion builder wave.

I wouldn't be surprised if we started to get new 2.0 parts in the next big faction wave, and maybe even cosmic; then those parts will be used for the Deluxe Legion Builder wave 2.

Yes and no. With the cuirrass they have the option to highlight the pattern to make a gaudy ornament character, or to not highlight the pattern (Ignatius for example) and let it blend with the color scheme (pic related). Plus the shoulder pads are so big that it takes away attention from the torso. With 2.0 the shoulder pads were small, so the dial telephone torso stood out and cannot be hidden by the shoulder pads. Thus it becomes goofy that everyone, or every skinny male in Mythic Legions has telephone dial torso.

Beyond that I think 2.0 proportions are also fucked. They need new arms and legs as well, because the arms and legs were designed mostly for female in-armor characters. 2.0 were initially supposed to be female only line before they backed down and decide to release kitbashed twink elves. The proportions are really whack.

I think it is better to start over, and do 1.5 or 2.5 body whatever you call it to make some mage and rogue/thief class characters, rather than salvaging 2.0 parts which where not as good and well proportioned as 1.0 parts

So far all my planned customs have come from wanting to make something we haven't gotten yet, or something I can't afford.

I want a female goblin, female silverhorn sentry styled character, and an Illgar styled character. I can almost make what I want, I just need to wait for the Arethyr stock sale, and hope I can grab what I want.

Of course it's also fun to do super lazy headswaps to turn regular knight/dwarf/elf figures into skeletons.

Depends. If you just collect 4-5 figures then no. They are all pretty good figure in term of quality, sculpt, paint and looks. Just get whatever whoever you like and never pay for retarded prices.

But once you are 8+ figures or so, personally I think OCs and kitbashes are what the make the line fun. The problem is that mold reuse is so so prevalent in this line, while the lore is paper thin so you have characters from supposedly warring faction wearing the same helmet and armor with different colors. Fans have tried to mitigated this with 3D printed resin kits and cannibalizing other figures to make their DnD OC's.

From what I recall, the original plans for the 2.0 build was to be female specific, but the fan demand for male elves was enough for the 4H to throw out the new male torso. I don't think male bodies were really planned out for the 2.0 body in advanced as they were still working on the Goblins during the KS itself. I do love how they used the Goblin upper chest mixed with the elf abs to make the Skeleton Builder's male torso, and I really wish they used that build more. I feel that would make a great base for a rogue character or something.

My "kitbashes" are barebones at best, mostly just partswaps and accessorizing so I don't know how much my advice will help. But when I kitbash, I go both ways. Sometimes I have an exact plan of what I want the figure to look like and gather parts and pieces to build a figure to that end. But others I just throw what I got together and see what works.

Pic related is an example of the former, as I've wanted to build a "Elite Knight" style Knight since the line started. While not trying to match the look exactly, I had a basic idea of what I wanted out of the figure and I collected parts and pieces and picked a good base body to bring it all together. However I have a lot of figures that just kind of fall into place because I have a pile of parts and accessories, and they eventually just find homes on their own and make figures I end up really happy with.

I don't think you specifically HAVE to kitbash to fully enjoy this line, but this line does make kitbashing very easy and it was something planned to be a part of it from the start. If you just want knights,, skeletons and such, the stock figures are fantastic as is

I didn't keep him as is, but I still have a similar concept I'm messing with using the base body with new accessories trying to find something I really like. I've added this to the checklist since the horsemen added it as its own wave on the "waves released" page, also decided to give it its own border to differentiate the releases.
I'm hoping that nearer the time to release they upload HD images of the older figures in the wave since they mentioned they were planning on doing that.

Also man, when these drop my wallet is going to hate me, I think I'll end up getting 2 all in sets (if possible, they might limit it to 1 per person) and an additional skeleton.

It's a new head, just similar in style to his old one.

While I do agree that his helmet was overused in the line, when you really look at everything, only four figures used that head as their only primary head. Every other figure had it packed as an alt helmet, with a usually better alternative included.

Of the four that use it as their main head, one was chosen by fans, another was an homage figure to Warduke done as a charity figure to a fan who passed away and the other two were Gorgo and Ignatius. I forget where I read it, but I believe it was rumored Gorgo was once a member of the Order when it turned corrupt, as was Ignatius, so lore wise I can see them sporting similar gear.

The set does look fantastic, but I'm sort of on the fence about it. I already have Gorgo from the first wave, and this one isn't *too* huge of an improvement. Though the new cape is just amazing, it's something I can always find on ebay. Attila needed a new torso though, the less the old one gets used the better. I have Magnus currently leading my Leodyssians, and his unique armor helps him stand out more in the crowd.

I guess I'll decide when I see better pics and prices tomorrow.

The game...as awful as it looks, does seem to have a fantastic character creator. That alone may tempt me to buy it as they're really pushing the idea that the characters used in the game are your own and I'm always a sucker for that.

When you select your pledge you get a menu showing add ons and there is an option for the game so unless that is counted on the page there may be more people buying the game that it appears.

Here are my take:
1. If the KS fail, the game would not be made but the figures and the molds seem to be already done. They will release the figure regardless.
2. If the KS succeed, all you get is exclusive packaging. The toys would be available regardless.
3. Recolors are inevitable. Like when they campaigned for Equadron selling expensive T-shirt and pins, only later to resell recolored Shadow Equadron before people who backed the original T-shirt and pins campaign even received their OG Equadron.

If you guys legitimately interested in the game, go for it. But if you just want the toys, it is a hard skip and you will have your opportunity to grab the plastic as long as you subscribe to the newsletter.

It doesn't matter. They already spent some time and investment to at least 3D model the new mold. The tooling might or might not already be done. 4H will recoup on the investment regardless. Same like they pushed the 2.0 KS to be some millions of dollars dangling the ogre mold. But the ogre mold is already in the plan and even when we didn't reach the KS target, it was later released as separate PO campaign.

1) The game is already being made, the single player story stuff is already funded and in development. This KS is mainly for the Multiplayer aspects of the game.

2) Yes, the only exclusive part of the two pack will be the packaging, just like the first KS's legion builders are pretty much the same here only they don't have a special logo or the extra heads from the original run.

3) They clearly mentioned during the anniversary Equadron run that if people wanted the figure without all the extras, they were going to release a stand alone repaint of it. That wasn't a surprise in any way, and they knew people would prefer the figure without the shirts and pins and planned for it from the start. Both figures were being produced at the same time, and again, they were upfront about the recolor coming out *while* the Anniversary version was still up for pre-order.

But yes, I agree, these two will come around again. I don't see either of them getting specifically repainted though, but certainly stand alone releases at some point. I was on the fence about the two pack, but $100 for two slightly upgraded v1 figures is a bit much.

The question is, would the 2pack figure be available for $35 pricepoint later down the line when the KS end. Seems like they are shuffling the extra fund into the game dev. But if the game is funded and the tooling is made there is no reason to charge extra

I can see them being "deluxe" priced with the fancy cloth goods and giant shields added in. I doubt they'd do both for $100 then turn around and sell them separate at a lower price. I also don't see either of their unique parts seeing repaints any time soon, with these 2.0 figures they seem to be going for more character specific looks.

I've added the two new figures to the checklist.
If I knew new reveals would come out so soon I would have held off on updating the list lol.

Nah I want a Gorgo and the orc builders, I just wanted to see if any of the anons who come to these threads are one of the 150 who have bought that signed tier so far.
I am looking forward to that in stock sale though, I just hope the hand/feet sets aren't limited to just 1 per person in the first hour since I want 2 of those and international shipping is a bitch for small orders.

I've never heard of this company but this figure looks awesome. The price for it seems crazy though, $125 is really up there for a 1:12 figure. Even dropping the $90 for that Mezco Conan that's never going to ship was pushing my personal limits.

They also made really good diecast 1/12 knights. Yeah I agree $125 is steep but the price of everything has pretty much crept up out of control. I imagine they have to recoup the cost of tooling for brand new sculpt, soft goods, on 7-8 inch tall figure with no IP to back it up and only 2 SKUs.

They always do with their 1/6th line. Some of them are really awesome because they have free creative license to do whatever. But as very niche company and unlicensed IP, the price maybe steep, they are already one of the pricier 1/6th line. Hopefully they can bring a lot of generic character like the mummies, witches, etc to 1/12th scale.

Anyway, completely unrelated, here's the last of my major factions, my Skeleton Horde. Supplemented by some bonebags from other lines, it's probably the slowest growing faction I have. The 4H really need to up their skele-game, it's been way too long since they added any cool new undead in the line. I think the last named one was Keltus, and that was way too long ago.

I bought a Vultus last week fro a decent price and it arrived today, the joints are might tighter on him than Eagalus but the torso pops off too easily so I need to be careful when moving it.
He's cool though, I think I might give them a robe and magic staff.
