I remember when Star Wars first came out, and it was sooooo important that you get the "official" version of the ship. THIS is what Lego says the ship is. If you made one yourself, it was garbage.
But then Lego started doing multiple versions of the same ship. over and over again. and y'know what? it feels a little less "official" now...
Aside from new figures which would require new faces or hairs or whatever... the ships, you can just do it yourself.
