>>10120728I'm not sure I would go THAT far on the G2 Dinobots but I do agree that they never really lit my fire. I think what makes them so offputting for me is that they're rather drull as far as G2 goes. I know that not everything in G2 was about being loud and guady neon but it's the part that people remember the most about it and the G2 Dinobot colors feel like a wasted opportunity with how they're basically the same but swapped out the gray for some other basic color. Compare that to Fruiticus or Neon Night Rider Menasor, or hell, even Jazz, they were boring. Not to mention, it's a crying shame that despite the dinobots getting what, like 2 or three G2 colors each, they never did the ACTUALLY exciting one we see in proto G2 Grimlock. To this day, it still blows my mind that no 3p has ever repainted their Grimlock like it. NA has been doing so pretty out of left field repaints so I hope they finally do it, but I'd also absolutely love it and even be willing to pay FT rape prices if they rereleased Grinder with that deco. I'm also flabbergasted that with how bold and in-your-face Gigapower is, they weren't the first to do it with their Grimlock. SOMEBODY needs to make this thing a reality.
