>>9405674>pteroformer sketchyeah but you cant have soft flexible membranes on a toy so you'd be stuck with detaching arms, and I think we're all a little tired of those. Anytime a soft, floppy part of a beast mode becomes something explicitly rigid in robot mode, it feels wrong.
Plus, part of what makes quetzalcoatlus so cool is the elongated hands and wrist spikes (pic of a zoids 'organoid' I did for a commission once to illustrate)
which makes it much harder to make humanoid limbs out of them. It might actually be easier to have the wings fold considerably up into the body just to.. 'spend' some of the mass. then have the pterosaur legs fold up and around to be robot arms.. anyway most pteroformers suck at least a little.
