>>8854111Wow, aside from Bludgeon Super7’s upcoming list is really lame. They really should’ve dove in on Action Masters, Pretenders and whatnot...... why Tracks?
>>8854199I’ve speculated it before but I have a theory regarding Regeneration One and the “real” purpose behind it. I firmly believe that Regeneration One is not a finale to Marvel, I believe it is a compilation of Furman’s ideas and intents for IDW1.
-Monstructor vs Omega Supreme
-Fanatic spiritualist Bludgeon obsessed over weaponizing Thunderwing
-no Primus or Unicron
-Otherworldly nastier threat (Dead Universe/Dark Matrix)
-Decentralized Autobot command structure
-Scientist Jhiaxus
-Badass competent stoic Magnus
-Cybertron desolated and utterly beyond repair
-“fixing” Hot Rod/Rodimus (Regen is the best Rodimus story ever)
-Optimus who fails and has grown cynical
-Galvatron enthralled by Dark Entity
-Mad Scientist Bond villain Scorponok who has a rivalry with Grimlock
-Dinobots hating Grimlock
G2 with some ideas from Classics is my preferred ending to Marvel. Plus the idea that the Swarm killed ALL of humanity makes the final battle wayyyy more impactful and poignant.
