As soon as NECA started doing Godzilla figures and creating "competition" for S.H. MonsterArts, the fate of these threads was sealed. Add in NECA losing the license in favor of Playmates and that's how you get Playmates "fans" who really just want to shitpost about NECA and don't actually care about the Playmates figures. McFarlane I guess got wrapped in because they're still viewed as competition for NECA even though Todd doesn't see it that way.
