The Gunbarrel Striker can also mount the Strike Gundam's shield and beam rifle on its wing pylons. The shield plugs right in, while the beam rifle needs an attachment bracket. The beam rifle was clearly designed with this bracket in mind though, as it snaps on smoothly and holds very securely, while also being easy to remove.
Speaking of the small wings, they're partially diecast as well. The leading edge of the wings are diecast while the rest is plastic to accommodate the connection port for the beam rifle/shield. There's also some additional diecast in the Striker's internal structure.
