Once again, Marvel took a great idea and prostituted it to the ends of the Earth and in turn ruined Venom and Carnage. There's no originality left with either character now with all of the symbiote characters running around the MU.
They did the same thing with Spider-Man. Once you introduce tons more "spider-power" characters, Peter looses his originality and you dilute the character. Once he was the cornerstone of Marvel, now he's an afterthought.
