>>10205989Whoops, didn't even put commentary about the context. On the right is an early figure in Tomy's line of basic Pokemon action figures. They weren't the most articulated thing, or best designed (especially compared to later releases) but they were at a basic price point that would probably be what the current 4.5" figures are today.
I also made an Incineroar comparison (with a weird bootleggy pic from Aliexpress that points out the articulation) but that one almost doesn't seem fair. The Snorlax comparison could be another, where Jazwares Snorlax basically just lays there static while the Tomy one is a full action figure. They were really hitting their stride by the end of the line, and maybe not like the later ones, but we should at least be able to see things to the level of their Machamp, Greninja, Mewtwo, or Mega Lucario, or even Mega Mawile which was a bit more basic, I think.
