As for Thor. I like him a lot, but there's also a few issues. It's my first figure with a cloth cape and I'm not that impressed. Equally fun to pose as it is fiddly and a chore to get just right. Also, I think it's quite thick and could have been done nicer.
>pic relatedI eventually gave up and called it quits, lol. All the effects hanging on by a thread, posing him, balancing him on the stand, holding up the cape... Ugh. It's interesting to see what Gucci did with the effects this time. None of them plug in, they're a softer plastic and can wrap around pretty much anywhere you like, but obviously this way they don't hold too well. The cloth caps is leaning against my photobox in this pic. I'm sure there's better ways, but that's one of the issues I have, the wire worksy but it doesn't work perfectly. They should add an armature like Mezco Dark Knight.
Also, I'm wary of the wires breaking eventually. Seems like one of mine already did break at thr bottom seam of the cape... Not a big deal, you can barely tell and it doesn't matter too much, but eventually the wire is bound to give out and then it's gonna be a huge bitch to replace the wire or the cape. With how gappy Thor's neck can be, you can see inside how the cape is fastened. Seems like there's plugs(glued?) on the opposite side of his chest "buttons" that hold the cloth in place.
