Most original IP Chinese figures are tits.
Damtoys and LimToys are the names that come to mind, but honestly there are lots of companies that have only brought out one or two great quality figures.
The Damtoy's drawman body is the basis for most custom figures these days. I have Damtoys Solomon Plan and VToys Cyberpunk Robin and they are really impressive figures.
Excellent cloth goods, heaps of accessories, competitive pricing, great articulation and they just look cool as shit.
I'm actually sad that neither line came out with the additional figures they had planned.
Then you have ToyNotch who make the outstanding AstroBots. All of their articulated figures are just spectacular and I have several, with more on order. They also have a lot of exciting things coming out soon.
Take a look at the 3rd party figures coming out of China. The Mask, Batman (various types), Solid Snake, Resident Evil figures, The Last of Us...none of them are licensed figures but all are fantastic.
China is getting very close to being one of the market leaders in 1/12 and already are in 1/6.
I mean, check out the knockoff Bulma with her motorcycle, looks really good, even when directly compared to the SHF.
