As far as costumes and armors, Winter Soldier's Captain America design was great. It's a good rip on Commander Steve Roger's comic design. As much as i like the design, i still ahve not bought any toys for it.
Toby's Spider-Man was good. Holland's black Spiderman costume was good too. And just good, because the original costumes are just perfect. The movies adding any details just takes away from that perfection.
Black Widow and Hawkeye's are pretty good as well. Was never a fan of HAwkeye's classic costume, but everything else was generally plain enough for the movie costumes to also look good in comparison.
The Vision also had a good design as well. More details gave him a technological modern human design vs the super advanced godlike comic book version. So it's different takes on the same character, so not necessarily better.
And I'm not a fan of any of the iron man suits. Too slick for me. Despite having more solid piece looking armor pieces, it looks more claustorphobic and too thin to look like it'll protect the human inside. Way too many tiny pieces that look like they'll snap off just being handled, like some mini-plastic battleship armor.
Despite the comic armor actually being skin tight, it's bulky appearance looks like it can take a beating.
