The Origins mold definitely would have benefited from ankle joints so you could flex the paws. Still a fun toy though, and the lack of articulated paws gives the toy an oldschool charm of its own.
I think at least half the reason I like the thing so much is that deep purple flocking. Really adds a regal, premium component to the look and feel of the toy. I've go no interest in the bare plastic version or any of the Battlecat releases.
