I just got the '68 Mustang today. It's a nice build and it looks really good, from the sides. From the front (or back) it looks narrow.
Now that will be fine with the rest of my Lego cars in my (planned) Lego city.
But I also plan on doing what you could call a "display" that would pretty much be my fantasy garage/hanger bay. It will be filled with my favorite cars and small spaceships and planes. I want to put a Mustang in there, among others, but I want them to look a bit more "realistic", i.e have a more normal looking width.
So I'm thinking 8 studs wide might be alright (maybe 10 for the 2006 Ford GT), but I'm unsure how that will look, or if it would even be possible without ruining the look.
So has anyone else done that? If so, could you share pics?
