>>9254049I always really liked the Voya Matoran. I like how they all have design similarities shared across them despite being unique builds (which is part of the reason why I honestly don't really care for most of the unique build teams in the later years). If you know what you're doing with Bohrok feet and eye pieces it's really easy to make a matoran moc and have it be immediately obvious that it's meant to be a Voya Matoran.
I do wish they had at least one unique part or at least recoloured masks though. Even as a kid I remember being able to moc all of them just by eye'ing their pictures before actually getting them, except for Kazi because I couldn't figure out how the fuck you were supposed to get a Metru head attached onto a ball joint. Didn't expect him to just be a fucking sock puppet when I finally got him.
Other than them I really like the classic Mctorans, you can't do a lot of them but they got a lot of charm. I would like the rebuilt Matorans but the fact that parts don't exist to build them in green or black just absolutely ruins them for me. The rest of the Matorans are just kind of shit I don't care about them in the slightest. Except for Zesk I love those little shits.
