I don't know if it was the specific products I saw when I was younger, but this company didn't seem to want to be a lego competitor, so it didn't have (AFAIK) sets like pic related. As in, the "style" of the sets was further detached from the Lego aesthetic, if that makes sense. I'd like to emphasize again the usage of tubes/plugs like those things that come out of humans in the Matrix (not sure what the right term would be), but in bright colors.
