OK. Boy, I was expecting disappointment, but I wasn't expecting to be constantly annoyed by some of the design choices here. Tupperware feeling ass...
Why the hell are the shoulders not on a slider of some sort? There is plenty of room for it, and at the same time a flap or door of some kind to alow the arms up more than 45° would have been nice. The thighs are molded at this weird ass 15° angle that makes it very strange to try to pose the legs, it always seems like he has something rammed up his ass, very strange. I suppose as a consequence of the fucked up thighs the toes are splayed out at an angle as well. The toes actually bother me more than the thigh issue for some reason, like yeah, the things are fucked up, why did you fuck the toes up to attempt to hide it? I would definitely have appreciated if the wings could be swept back a little, I could understand a lack of movement because of Leo's arms, but for them to be molded to stay straight kills the fuck out of me, why would you do that?
The micromasters are junk. Holi came out alot better than Fire, fortunately, and this may ba a case by case thing. Fire is suffering from mold degradation bad, the knees are extremely tight, to the point that it feels safer popping the legs off to unfold them rather than risk breaking the ball off. That said also, the legs don't fully fold in either, there is no clearance for the wheels to roll at all, and the legs also can't tab together fully, splitting the front of the truck regardless of what you do. The ladders rotation joint is also busted so that it falls off constantly. The combine gun mode doesn't work since Fire's body will just fall off the ladder when combined. This really bothers me because Bigshot was a really nice micromaster, yet here Fire feels awefull. Whatever though my Red Hot doesn't have these problems. Holi is fine, the one thing I can say negative is that they chose the most ugly color layout possible for his vehicle mode, but that's whatever.
