A happy surprise that kinda ruins a plan, local DHL shop(... run out of a UPS store, is this a thing?) had been holding onto a Gouf Custom someone prematurely sent me as a kind of thank you(not a freebie just a bit cheaper, and likely was trying to spare me a hunt for it) for some middleman help I gave them; for the last two days... Acquaintance never told me it was coming for the surprise, but damn; if DHL hadn't called to wring those 'customs' fees out of me. Might not have known it was there. Ugh.
That said glad to be part of the growing Gouf Troop(
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPqomrYO960... Not sorry, and the one for the OG Gouf is better.) here!
>>9862791>>9862832>>9862885Damn, was gonna suggest trying to message the Tam. Nations JP twitter or FB; but looks like that option was taken out sometime ago. All the luck though, but if it helps. A pin vise hand drill and a really shallow hole in the grey half(sorry, know the shield yikes! levels-of-thin for this) of the shield with 2MM polystyrene rods(think you could find these at a local model shop, I'd almost guarantee it at a place that sells RC Plane kit stuff); is a fix that might not be as invasive.
>Also, I just opened mine and watch out for the cannon that attaches directly to the arm. The grey bits that wrap around the wrist are pretty thin I cracked one side putting it on the first time.Damn, just saw what you mean. Cannon was put in the plastic tray wrong-side-up on mine, so both bits were bent back; dealt the killing blow and snapped both off getting them back in place to glue hahaha! One was a clean snap so can't tell the fix easily at least, again appreciate the heads-up!
>>9854127>>9862947Definitely like the silhouette the chogokin has, eventually gonna for the RD RX-78F00(just trying to snag a RX-93FF to go with) now that it's getting cheaper; but it's nice to get another look at the chogokin!
