If I buy an old bin of lego for $80 bucks and I spend say 3-4 hour sorting it and end up with 200 dollars worth of merchandise and then need to spend another 1-3 hours listing and selling it I am at 4-7 hours of work for which I make 120 dollars. That's really not a lot of money and if I have to spend another hour cleaning it the time to money thing just gets worse. Selling second hand lego is not very profitable unless you get really lucky.
