That being said they're different. If you go in expecting Bandai levels of ease, they're not quite there but they are close. Frame Arms in general have some floppy issues depending on their age. Earlier ones that include the full Architect Frame (or ones that make heavy use of the parts of it) have some flop. Easy to fix but worth being aware of.
Koto also includes prepainted pieces at times, like the eyes on Xuanwu and Yinghu. Koto also likes their parts separation which is both a blessing and a curse at times. Frame Arms, and Frame Arms Girls vary wildly in what kind of painting they need to be color accurate though, so you kinda just get what you get with that.
