I know World War II and Vietnam are the most popular (as those are the ones most likely to appear as Dollar Store clones) and I've seen all sorts of other eras like Wild West, Civil War, American Revolution, Medieval, Pirates, Romans, Vikings, Ninjas, even obscurer things like Celts and Napoleonic troops. But I have yet to see WWI Army Men either online or IRL.
Has anyone ever made such a thing? I would not be surprised if Marx made a set back in the 1950's and 1960's, because they seemed to have made Army Men for damn near every type of era imaginable, even weird stuff like Cavemen and Dinosaurs or 1950's B-Movie horror monsters (Dracula, Frankenstein, Wolf-Man, etc.) but I have yet to see any manufacturer past or present make a World War I set.
Maybe I haven't looked hard enough?
Also, where would be a good place to purchase old Marx Army Men playsets and how much would they be going for?
