>>9754402Design wise, there's a lot of design elements that just clash with one another.
>The cow-catcher is super out of place on anything that isn't a steam locomotive, and it's basically making that magnet set underneath it completely pointless. If you want a plow on the front of your diesel use 64415c01 instead or use a brickbuilt one.>The headlights in front of the cab completely fuck with the look of the train, and because you're trying to get window clearance the hood is way too low. >You need something underneath the middle of the train, or else the gap between the two trucks is super noticeable. >Honestly the back needs a lot of work too. I can see what you were going for but you need some sort of cohesion when using those grill bricks. It's still on the right track though, there's tons of room for improvement. If you're going for that 70s/80s/90s American diesel look at then take a look at the diesels in the 10133 BNSF, the 10219 Maersk train, or the 60052 Cargo Train for building ideas. I'd also take a look around at some IRL motor power for inspiration too, like the GP-7, the GP38, the SD40-2, and other EMD built locomotives from around that time.
