A while ago I posted about making custom laser-cut boxes for my figure's extra parts and accessories, I've been having trouble with making simple cavities that would hold my pieces in place, but at work I saw picrel (the box, not the crown) and took one it home, faceplates fit perfectly in it and gave me the idea of using that same foam.
My question is: is it safe for printed pieces to be in direct contact with something for long-therm storage? I mean is can the foam stain (which I guess would be fixed by using undyed foam) or rub-off the printing of pieces such as faceplates?
