In actuality there's probably thousands of these figures collecting dust on a bunch of nerds' shelves; they bought it because of new movie hype but probably don't care about it and forgot about it but don't sell toys so they'll just sit on it for decades until they die.
The best way to get figures like this used to be hanging out on forums and interacting with people and maybe you'll see someone who had the figure who didn't care for it and you could offer up a decent price person to person. Now with everything being twitter/discord/ whatever it's harder to make trustworthy connections. ebay/mercari/ other storefronts are pear shaped and make people think they can either pay nothing or get paid a ton more than the actual value.
