I consider year 2 a step back, but individually some of the baddies were better than year 1, the harpy, gargoyle, rogul, lord krackenskull and bricksters were all well done and way better than beastmaster for example. They did really over do it with the use of basic stonestompers. I think they missed the mark with the 3 brothers' vehicle, hellhole and colossus.
I like the year 3 generic baddies, the new pieces they got are awesome. The named minifigs are a big letdown. I honestly can't say I like the cyberbyters over bricksters. I don't care if it fits the show's story. Getting identical 'infected' squirebots is dumb, especially when the vanbyters/cyberbyters are pretty much identical.
