Then 2 years ago I bought the 2013 HG Wing Gundam on a whim while visiting Japan, mostly due to nostalgia. I built it in the hotel at night. Then I flew out of Japan with 3 RG kits. Now I have a huge backlog and a tub of paints and a collapsable spray booth that I set up when my gf is watching tv.
I think having built a few as a kid makes it much easier to appreciate the huge leaps in quality and engineering, especially when snap building.
