>>7172154The way I see it, it's just weeding out the weak from the community. Do you like your rare figure because it's rare? Or because you genuinely enjoy the toy? If the latter, this is a great time to be alive. Lots of old rare pieces are finally popping up for obtainable prices, so I can finally flesh out my collection the way I always wanted.
To be honest, all of this seems to be hand-wringing over some perceived notion of the community dying out. Matt seems to be doing as fine as ever, so I don't think we're in danger of the toyline actually dying. People are still buying, the community is just more fractured than it's ever been. We're all spread out and in all likelihood it'll never be as good as OTF again, but hey, we're here, and we can at least make these threads as good as we can. Stop fretting over people selling their collections and quitting. If you love Glyos, stay the course, post about it, enjoy it.
