I'd like to ask you guys for some help and some advice.
I've just bought the Lego 6081 off bricklink and it should be with me in a few days. The only issue is - as the guy in the video is about to point out is that the left side of the castle doesn't look exactly great.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXI_-L7U7lcThe video I linked is what a guy did to extend it - and he did a stellar job as far as I'm concerned. Normally I'd just go his route but the issue is that baseplate he used is expensive - almost as expensive as another castle.
So I'm in a bind - I want to improve on that left side but I need to do something else. Quite at a loss about what to do - so here I am asking you guys for input and suggestions. How would you add to that castle? What affordable baseplate would you go for to add next to it? Or would you go about it a different way?
My budget for an "add-on" is about 40 USD for a bricklink order with parts specifically for that purpose.
