>>9797010>their age in terms of engineering has not been kindHonestly, most of them felt pretty dated already by the time they came out (didn't help that they took so long to come out). That was one of FP's biggest issues is that none of their stuff ever really pushed the envelope or really evolved in terms of better/more creative engineering solutions, aesthetics, or designs. What they put out years down the line fit in exactly well with shit they put out from the beginning, and not in a good way. Just kinda funny how one of the first companies on the scene was also one of the first to fade away because they seemingly got complacent. Hell, one of the most exciting things they ever did was Glacialord because it was something actually fresh and interesting (despite being intentionally retro and dated), however it ultimately flopped because of what they were charging for it. I absolutely loved that set but I'm still glad I never picked it up until it went to super clearance. Would love to see a better company pick up the characters and make CHUG or MP versions though so I could have a cheeky "G1" set and a more prestigious "modern" version of them.
