>>7109062>Also I understand the argument that they're aliens so they don't technically have to be acurate to humans, but by that logic they shouldn't have to love, in a way similar to humans either?I see the argument both ways. 1) they're highly intelligent, immortal beings with complex emotions, so it makes sense that they could form emotional connections with others and without the need for sex or two specific genders who it was wouldn't really matter, but 2) since they don't have to mate or pair off for the species' survival, maybe they wouldn't have a need for that kind of emotional satisfaction. Im fine either way they want to write it, as long it's written well.
