I keep about 3-5 TFs per shelf. The rest are in their vehicle modes stored in a box awaiting their display time if I ever felt like it.

I also keep a few figures on my bookshelves because of the extra space and to remind me to dust them every once in a fortnight.

What are the odds either Hasbro or Takara will fix the molds so that this problem is corrected? I recall the mold had been broken at the factory and the workers just quickly patched it up without checking to make sure the finished product came out ok.

Most Deluxes and Legends from Titans Return are pretty good buys. Just avoid all of the cassette tapes except for the humanoid ones (Rewind, Red Guy aka Frenzy aka Rumble aka Whatever The Fuck You Wanna Call Him), because the tapes are pretty meh besides the humanoid ones, which are great.

Hell, most of the Titan Masters never got reused as anything, and the ones that did were sad at best. Could have had some crazy ass repaints and retools on those TMs, but instead we got... Three T-Rexs, two of which were black. That stupid fucking tank vehicle twice. And then just straight up re-releases of some of the worst guys.

If there's one thing that annoyed the hell out of me in TR, it was that the Sentinel Prime face was never repainted in another color, instead it got stuck as blazing orange and the only way to get the superior versions was to get Convobat, or Lio Convoy.

There is a Primal and a Gator Megs from E-Hobby but they are fuck expensive and not really worth it; if they had at least changed the rubber on the Rubber Soul mold for hard plastic then the thousand dollars worth of exclusive tax would've been worth it.

Not likely, but I personally have been craving a line where Hasbro just goes to all the unproduced figures they designed (G1 Unicron and Arcee, Transtech, a bunch of Animated toys, etc.) and releases them all in some awesome hodgepodge homage.

Im that beast machines rattrap newfag that was excited to get into transformers and wanted Titans Return.
My first order arrived yesterday and its Sergeant Kup.
I fucking loved him on pictured because i always wanted to have classick blocky chunky human-like transformer (all i had were some weird abstract G1 ones and beast wars/machines).

What i like:
- the figure looks very complicated compared to what i have. I like his frontal glass being on his chest with those front lights. Makes his torso look like its made of many parts.
- His legs are FUCKING AWESOME. what a good engeniering. His legs contain both wheels and close to form a leg without any gaps which is cool

What i dont like:
- he is so damn loose and wobbly. Everything just wiggles around and it feels like an action figure with very loose joints

Btw Gnaw figure alredy loosen his leg-arm joints. I guess after few years there will be a lot of Titans return toys that went through rough play or just through kids hands and all of them will be extremely loose it will be hard to make them stand properly

Way back before FunPub, the people who ran the convention had an idea for Beast Machines Snarl as him (because it was the only mold available with a beard I guess and this was before even retooling heads was an option). They briefly dabbled with the idea of it being a Lio Convoy redeco instead, but neither idea wound up going anywhere.

Eventually Botcon (under Funpub) WOULD do the whole "Alpha Trion as a lion" thing by redecoing the below average Thundertron mold as him, then go "lol nah it's just Cheetor" in their own fiction.

As people pointed the difference is not all that big a difference, however I already own the old generations blitzwing and the hasbro megatron so I'll need to weigh things up, would be nice if the hasbro versions wings already had some paint on the wings because then I could just wait for a sale like I did with megatron, alas blitzwing is gonna be a tough one for me.

While the old generations is a real OC of a design and not MUH g1 at least it makes complete alt modes with little compromise, it works as megatron because the wings blend in but as blitzwing they stick out.

Why do people complain so much about optional stickers anyways? They're just neat little homages to the original figures and you're not forced to have them on if you don't want to. IMHO, as long as they don't come as a replacement for actual paintjobs, decals are totally fine with me. Takara is missing out on not having them included.

I just don't get why at all if that's the case, its not that big a difference apart from having a red gun, this is something I didn't expect takara to do, I bought many redecos because of how varied they are (I own all of the datsun mold redecos though the hasbro prowl and bluestreak fill in for the takara ones for example, and yes, pic related as well) but looks like I'll be passing here.

I believe the feet looseness are a qc issue that has not yet being rectified while the feet shape is just slavery to the g1 toy/cartoon design, otherwise its still a functionally good toy that only lost a bit of itself because of the headmaster gimmick.

BBTS is a lot more flexible than HLJ though. If I remember correctly, they can hold stuff for up to 180 days, whereas HLJ will only hold your stuff for a maximum of 60 days.

BBTS also lets you cancel items at any time, even when they have been released (if your payment method has been declined or whatever), whereas HLJ only lets you cancel before they go into payment processing (but they let you refund anything from your Private Warehouse, so there's that).

Oh, nice. Hasbro's Offshoot is pretty easy to find online so I guess I'll just get that and be done with it. I said "almost every", not "all". But let's be fair, Hasui was responsible for Magnus to start and Kobayashi finished it. For all we know, the "bad" parts of Magnus are all Kobayashi's fault and the "good" parts are Hasui's doing. Though to be fair, that's just conjecture, but you get my point.

He fucked up Starscream twice, if he really did do Tracks, well, that's a horribly problematic figure, Rodimus Prime is a mess of QC and design issues (and despite all that AND mine breaking, I still like it, but it's a mess nonetheless), Grimlock has the stupid tail gimmick that wasn't necessary at all, and if he worked on Ironhide... Hip skirts. And I'm someone who doesn't mind those, but still.

Tracks isn't even a mess. Almost every issue people have can be solved by fucking transforming him properly, making sure the grill panels are flipped and the side mirrors are installed all the way, and that the backpack is actually secured in the holes it's supposed to tab into.

It's a terrible mould. Head falls down, backpack and shoulders come untabbed, articulation sucks (elbows and knees), knees are loose (requires fixing, typically with sheet styrene), most of the robot torso is completely hollow... I could go on, but the point is that it's a mess.

I don't want to dissuade you from it, but I'm not sure how you can say it's in your top three Autobot cars (assuming you're talking about the official MPs) unless you only HAVE three.

Normally I find grey prototypes revolting but that's the mp03 and it looks sexy.

I won't be getting any more seekers once a hasbro mp skywarp comes, but I hope for future revissions they allow for a faceplate change, they should keep the jets the same size at least (1/60 scale jets are cool yo) but plenty of other things need to change

Now that's just a damned lie. If you move the shoulders, the chest untabs from them. If you try to move the wings (especially to get them out of the way of the awful shoulders), you'll knock the backpack off, even if you've attached it PERFECTLY (which is fiddly as hell to do right to begin with).

The knees are extremely loose and if you fix them, you'll see that they're very much inexcusable as they come.

The head is held up by friction, but it doesn't tab into anything and the moment you try to move it, it falls back into the gaping void in his torso.

The articulation is really disappointing in certain areas (his elbows can't even go 90°) and he's just overall a marked step down from every other Masterpiece Autobot car we've got, even just judging it objectively.

At the very least, all the others stay tabbed together.

And no, I love Inferno and Grapple, flaws aside (and they DO have flaws, such as the fucking paint chipping out of the box).

Maybe I was exaggerating a bit to say "almost all" of the Masterpieces that Kobayashi designed are a mess, but between even being near that Starscream, Tracks, Rodimus' numerous issues (clear plastic on the thin cockpit hinge is a big mistake, as I recently learnt), Grimlock's gimmick is unnecessary and hinders his articulation, and while Ironhide's hip skirts don't bother me, there's no real need for them (I mean, just look at the Shadow Fisher upgrades that fixed the design effortlessly).

If the side mirrors aren't pushed in as far as they can go, the doors can't peg in together on the back, which also affects how well the backpack holds together, and ultimately hinders the sturdiness of the whole torso.

Usually the caveat is the fact that they only ever detach from the body to transform it to vehicle mode, and the process is pretty fast, or in the case of The Last Knight, the head is just as strong as a normal robot. See: Cogman (Smaller than most adult humans) breaking Crosshairs' finger and judo throwing him without even looking at him.
