>>10833894I've been working on a MOC remake of Broadside's Brig, but it's more an amalgamation mixed with Lagoon Lockup and Sabre Island. Basic ground floor with dock in front. First floor is the Admiral Broadside's office, galley and the Brig. There's a tower coming out above the left side with a ladder going up to the first roof level and to the top of the tower. Up the ladder of the tower to the roof level inside the tower is the armament and bunkbeds for 3 soldiers. Outside the tower on the roof is a canon that rotates 360. If you go all the way up the tower, it's just a perch for a rifleman.
A Brig is built into the rocks on the right side of the building, with a built in way to escape. A part of the back wall of the Brig can be pushed in, to reveal a cave in the rocks that leads to the outside waters.
There will be Admiral Broadside and two soldiers, plus Captain Iron hook in the Brig, with a small sail boat docked up, that the soldiers can use or Ironhook can steal after escaping. There are 2 parrots perched on the building, 1 shark in the waters and a Skelton minifigure to be hidden in the cave with a treasure.
I don't have the correct bricks for it, but I've designed in my head, tested the build with approximate parts and am pretty happy with it. If and when I can buy the actual correct colored parts and little detailed pieces, I hope to fully build it for real.
The set is cool. It splits in half to open up for a dollhouse classic Lego play feel, but closes up to be a whole and complete building and display piece. It's also very mid-sized, so it would have a respectable price and not take up too much shelf space.
Is there a way to like digitally build sets abd convert it to a parts list? I'd love to just straight order the parts and build it of I can do it affordability.
