You can tell they went "We want to make a cool purple and red robot that turns into a lion. We'll figure the lion out later."
The ornamented chest and head and lion head shoulders all look super cool. Wish the lion's eyes weren't solid purple too, but what're ya gonna do?
The giant clear orange sword is the cherry on top of the whole thing.
Articulation allows for some good sword poses too.
Shoulders rotate freely and move outward about 60 degrees.
Elbows bend about 120 degrees and the wrists swivel.
The fun part comes from using the transformation joints as butterfly hinges for forward and backward movement.
Below the belt things are much less exciting. Hips move forward and back and outward like you'd think.
Crotch flap doesn't move itself out of the way enough.
Knees bend alright and the feet can move but not in the useful articulation kind of way.
Crazy that the legs are the part of this mold that got reused when they're so boring.
