I mostly got this set for the figures and some of the accessories; the rest is bonus and can serve well for different scenarios. The large cannon are grudgingly good enough for ACW siege warfare I'd argue, while the generic AT gun with big wheels is a passable Parrott if you aren't nitpicky. The first time I encountered them with the big wheels was in a Wild West set, even.
As for the wagons, there is one included in the left-most set
