>>7743863Going to have to elaborate - why too old? And why do I need to be 30 to rediscover it?
I have always had these kinds of standards for products.
>>7743866Thanks for informing me. I didn't know how these things work.
>>7743906I don't have any Castle sets from the 80s, but I would argue all castle sets were conflict-driven given how they all are very heavily armed.
Still - the castle I plan to build only has one faction, so it'll be more of a comfy fortress than anything else.
>>7743933There's a very specific scene (pic related) in a 1997 idea book - 697 that I think not only shows conflict but also is pretty grim.
Take a look - not only are the two clearly fighting but one is most definitely about to fall and meet a terrible fate.
And yes, it's very weird, I think they want to avoid all "contemporary conflict" so that there's no way people can accuse them of causing any sort of unwanted behavior from children.
>>7743971I feel the same way. Maybe you can say it hasn't changed much but it's changed enough for me to change my mind. I was going to get lots of them, now I'm not even getting one.
