>>7607680Sounds like a good premise, and yeah I've gone ahead and ordered a pair of those, thankfully a shop in town has them so I can do a local pickup. The ship does have more trans-neon green than is readily apparent in the one photo, but there's probably room for a bit more. These pics are pretty old, I'm almost certain I've replaced the light grey parts at the rear with black (I'll check later). I've thought about building them another ship or vehicle in the BL2 lines, but it would probably just be a small one as they're one of the weakest factions in the region in my personal canon. We'll see where things go, I've just committed myself to yet one more addition to the mining operation fleet (I swear this will be the last one...).
So the question comes up now, have the Blacktrons remained fairly homogeneous by BL3, or are they showing more diversity in the ranks? I mention this as the pilot I have for the little fighter is a reptilian type, and the marauders are likely to have aliens among them as well. Could pass it off as an inevitable side-effect of branching out into underwater activities, as they had no previous experience with that environment and might recruit disenfranchised bandits with the right expertise. That's how I'm gonna play it anyway, heh. In my canon a devastating series of wars and stellar catastrophes have crippled and scattered all the various factions, resulting in a lot of intermingling. The mining operation is probably the best example, but ex-Spyrius, IP2002, Unitron, Aquazone and others can be found in the ranks of other factions, even direct rivals. Some have banded together to form their own independent outfits as well, making things rather complicated at times.
