>>10805284Thank you, anon! Greatly appreciate it.
For my next trick (assuming this print works out) I'm torn between a few ideas.
>Average height tomboy/athletic>Average height chubby/plump girl>Amazon>MILFI also have a crazy idea of doing a poseable semi-realistic Ryuuko with a Giger/Guyver inspired biomechanical Senketsu, but that's getting a bit ahead of myself.
Also, whilst I have zero intention of charging for the bodies, as I want to keep them free (especially as they need premade joints to be used) would it be a dick move or reasonable to charge a small fee (£3 or so) for headsculpts? I wanna make some goblin heads for the shortstack body (of course).
>>10805301I did consider that, but the problem with that is that it can create "quadruple-cheeks" in some poses. Assuming I have the engineering right, this should (in theory) allow for a decent range of motion and fairly natural sculpt- the only range it cuts back on is backwards, and human hips actually can't rotate that far back on the whole anyway. We will see of course.
I will be real, hip articulation is where I struggle a bit. It's surprisingly tricky to get it to look natural but get decent range, especially on a 3" figure. I'm experimenting with the same setup some of the Second Axe (and imitators) use, with each leg having a separate balljoint on the torso with L-shaped balljoint stems. I seem to recall a customizer on here used a similar method for thicc custom Figmas he made.
