>>9977696The glittery facade can only be maintained by the ugly truth - the only way things like this are sustainable financially is by training up generations of way too many people buying stuff they really don’t need, often can’t afford and may not even have proper room for in their homes/lives. It’s a toy thread so I won’t even start on the food thing.
As an adult, my toys and collectibles especially should add some kind of ongoing & measurable value to my life, that’s my buying criteria and my requirement for them taking up space in my house. I loved seeing toy displays and rows of boxed toys in stores, but I think it’s odd to see them in people’s homes taking up significant square footage in a personal dwelling space. Don’t come for me MIB’ers, that’s just my own observation and opinion. Maybe you love that and it’s your thing and that’s fine too. I’d actually like to hear why you like to do it.
