>>11407399>- Accurate/reasonable sculpts>- Consistent scales>- Monsters for the Rangers to fight (besides Goldar and King Sphinx)That's one of the issues with Bandai's old yearly lines, the sculpts and scaling could vary significantly from year to year. Some teams are shredded, others have more realistic body sculpts. One season would be on the smaller end of 5", the next would be close to 6". With Super Megaforce in 2014 they finally picked a scale and style which they kept consistent until they lost the brand. But even then, they introduced concurrent larger "collector" figures two years later, instead of just continuing to build out old teams in the same scale and style of their current season toys.
What I'm ultimately looking for is all of the Rangers in a consistent scale and style. Shodo Super seems the most likely to achieve that, but it will be lacking American exclusives, numerous genderbent women will have male bodies, and comparably scaled villains will be few and far between.
One of the reasons I'm an advocate for the 5 inch scale is because of all the old villain figures one can draw from. The only enemies the Lightning Collection Zeo Rangers have to display with are a few Cog variations. Whereas the old 5" BoA line gave us Cogs in addition to 7 monsters of the day. One could also secure 5" nonposable figures of Mondo, Machina, and Sprocket from the Ohranger Defender Wheel set. Ultimately I can make a much more visually dynamic Zeo display with 5 inch figures than 3.75 or 6 inch figures.
