Pick big parts first
If you already have your part categories sort by those
If not, sort into many little piles.
Combine little piles in a way that makes sense to you so they fill one storage unit.
Its easier for the eye to find a color than a shape, so no color sorting.
Its hard to search for a small part when there are big parts in the same drawer
For small parts use sorting inserts
Don't put verry similar parts in the same insert
